  • Location of Myrtlebrook station is unknown, other than it being in vicinity of Bowen; the buildings on the station burnt to the ground in 1910, which may account for it not appearing on any contemporary maps. There is, however, a district known as Myrtlebrook to the south of Bowen, presumably named so in connection with the former station, so have mapped an arbitraty location in the north of the Myrtlebrook district. This location may be able to be refined with further archival research.[1]all time · Row 1484 Eid 48699
