Has DescriptionhasDescription

  • On arrival his parents accepted a job as married couple on Rio Station, on the Dawson, and were conveyed to their new home with their luggage in bullock, drays. The first thing they noticed on arrival was a blacks' camp in front of the kitchen door. This was the tribe supposed to have been implicated in the Frazer murder and the new-chums were naturally very much scared. However three policemen and a number of black trackers soon arrived and women and children were ordered to lock themselves inside and not to show themselves. When this was done shots were heard and a number of the blacks were killed.[1]all time · Row 0032 Eid 10637
