Has Description of EventhasDescriptionOfEvent
- Another Outrage by the Blacks.—The aborigines appear still to be continuing their depredations on the Albert River. On Monday the 6th instant a hutkeeper, in the employment of Mr. Francis Clarke, was suddenly had hold of by four blacks, while standing in front of the hut. Three other blacks then made their appearance, and ransacked the interior of the hut, carrying off two guns and about twelve pounds of flour. This is the third aggression committed on the above station by the same tribe of blacks within the short space of three months. (Moreton Bay Courier, 20 May 1848, p2).[1]all time · Row 0256 Eid 12649
