Described in Newspaper QuotedescribedInNewspaperQuote
- ANOTHER BLACK OUTRAGE. — Lieut. Murray has just received information from the Upper Burnett, that Mr. Malthus, Superintendent for Messrs. Ridler of Yarrol, had been knocked down by blackfellows; that one of the scoundrels stood on his stomach and robbed him of his revolver; and that the depredators then drove 130 valuable rams off the station. The division of mounted police in this district at present numbers three troopers, two of whom Lieut. Murray has left to protect the camp at Cooper's Plains, taking one trooper and one Maryborough constable with him to scene of the outrage. The remaining troopers belonging to Lieut. Murray's division were lately forwarded to Nogoa.[1]all time · Row 1841 Eid 53237
