- MORETON BAY. JULY 29.—The blacks, since my last communication, appear to have commenced their war of plunder in real earnest. A dray, belonging to the Messrs. Forbes, was plundered a few days since of most of its loading, which was going up to the Messrs. M'Connell's station, at the Bunya Bunya. So impudent have they become in those matters, that in this instance they robbed the dray when only about ten miles from the township of Ipswich, the articles taken consisted of five bags of flour, a quantity of sugar, blankets, &c.; they attempted shortly afterwards, at the same spot, to pull up a dray belonging to Messrs. Rolland and Taylor, when on its way down for supplies, but failed in their object.[1]all time · Row 2586 Eid 69044
