Yesterday, Davis was informed of the murder by the blacks, and he communicated with the inspector of police, who despatched the black trackers. They surprised the blacks' camps early yesterday morning, and found "Smoke's" remains as before mentioned. They are now in pursuit of the murderers.[1]
