Has Description of EventhasDescriptionOfEvent
- 'Just a few remarks concerning the blacks on the Star. At the time I arrived on the Star Station, Mr. Wheeler and his black troopers, were stationed at the Star, they had great trouble to keep the blacks at bay. Soon after, Inspector Wheeler was transferred, and Mr Poyndester succeeded Mr. Wheeler, and his troopers were stationed at the Star for a while. At times it was not too pleasant. ... Another time we were stuck up at the head of Kealbottom river.' (Townsville Daily Bulletin 17 March 1923, p11)[1]all time · Row 1448 Eid 46740
