ABORIGINAL DEPREDATIONS. Residents on the Dalrymple-road are complaining of the depredations frequently committed by a number of aboriginals camped there. Goats disappear wholesale, being killed by the blacks for food. But they do not stop at this; fowls frequently fall victims, and the settlors thereabouts are suffering considerable losses, and they want to know how the sons of the soil can be got rid of. Well, there are aboriginal stations where the remnant of Queensland's old-time population are housed and cared for, but we cannot say whether the aboriginals can be forcibly removed thereto, or whose duty it is to direct their wandering steps to the haven provided."
