Has DescriptionhasDescription
- Last evening we received information that Mr. Williams had eight head of cattle speared within view of his house on the Endeavour River. Two head are missing, and the repeated attacks of the blacks renders it impossible to keep the cattle on the camps. We presume that additional police protection is necessary for every officer in the district is on urgent duty, and the officers sent out to drive the blacks from the North Shore render the Endeavour patrol incomplete. This shows the correctness of the plan we advocated a few issues since, of placing an extra camp and patrol on the Endeavour.— Herald.[1]all time · Row 1315 Eid 38901
