Constable J Heenan F36 reports that in consequence of the attached requestence [sic] he left on patrol to Wooroora Station on the 9th inst with three trackers. The const going via Mount Garnet as instructed by his Inspector Mr Robinson informed the const that the blacks were very troublesome amongst the cattle lately at Wooroora. The const found three camps of blacks in the scrub at Karra who he dispersed. The const also found two freshly deserted camps & ascertained that the blacks that had been camped in them hard that the trackers were in the vicinity & that they had left & gone to the Tully & Murray Rivers. The const saw on the river where the blacks had been cutting bees nests etc of trees.
