In contrast, 9-handed no-limit poker is orders of magnitude more complex to model because of: Hidden private information, Randomness, Continuous betting actions, And multiple interacting players. From a computational modeling perspective — equilibrium finding, state abstraction, and opponent modeling — 9-handed poker is decisively more difficult than 2-player chess. [2025-10-10 10:40] alluring_piglet_29962: which is more computationally difficult to model, 9 handed poker to 2 player chess? [2025-10-10 10:41] alluring_piglet_29962: https://chatgpt.com/share/68e8e2ab-c73c-8004-86d0-48f7c7068f15 [2025-10-12 08:04] alluring_piglet_29962: <@806444151422976035> Do you still recommend windsurf? [2025-10-12 23:37] ajaxdavis: <@1229190315806691419> yeah i still use it as my default ide, and still use it occasionally for quick things but not often. try out `codex` too [2025-10-13 04:49] ajaxdavis: https://temporal.io/ might play around with this for fun [2025-10-13 09:04] ajaxdavis: you can type /context in claude, pretty cool (files: Screenshot202025-10-1320at207.png) [2025-10-13 11:14] glowins: Woah, that's amazing 🤩 [2025-10-13 11:53] foxhop.: i had a feeling it was compacting early. [2025-10-13 11:54] foxhop.: bigger windows must cost more and have less accuracy. [2025-10-13 11:59] glowins: Has anyone tried github copilot + gpt-5 mini? Is it usable? I don't want to spend $200 on coding monthly anymore and I am thinking of moving to that. It's $10 for unlimited gpt-5 mini monthly. Edit: never mind, mini is more like for small questions, asking about bugs, code explaining because it's not so good at code generation, for that it's better to use claude [2025-10-13 13:24] ajaxdavis: ive tried github copilot + gpt-5 and 5-mini inside of codespaces and it works quite well. i have $20 a month github account, not sure what it costs outside exceeding the plan [2025-10-13 13:25] ajaxdavis: you are talking about inside of vscode/cursor etc though yeah? [2025-10-13 13:33] glowins: Yeah, inside VS code. I read a lot of mixed opinions about gpt-5 mini. There are even some "beast mode md file prompts" which should tame the model and make it more focused and precise. I guess I will give it a shot and see for myself. Thanks Btw are there any community projects this community works on together? Something open rource on github perhaps? [2025-10-14 02:14] ajaxdavis: we've done a bunch of projects, nothing right now, i got free time again, anyone got ideas [2025-10-14 02:14] ajaxdavis: maybe make an actual open source project
